Fourteen RED cameras over four nights at Planetshakers Awakening Conference 2025.

No one ever lets a camera in this room. Let alone a RED Digital Cinema camera.

Go behind the scenes and get an All-Areas Access pass on one of the biggest live church concert captures in the world. 14 RED cameras, Load-in to Load-out and all the highs and lows in between.

Planetshakers, Melbourne, Australia. Shot on RED KOMODO and V-RAPTOR

If you shoot live church, band, conference, anything with a crowd and one chance to get it, this is the room you've been trying to get into.

The brief

A cinematic cut of the live concert for YouTube, filmed while the conference went out live to IMAG, YouTube and cable TV.

How we shot it

LightingThe LED wall was an external hire. We worked closely with the Planetshakers lighting director on exposure across the wash, the stage lights and the LED intensity, so there was no banding or flicker on any camera.
Frame rateEvery Komodo-X, V-Raptor, Helium, Epic and Dragon shot 100fps.
On the nightCameras rolled at the start of the night. Cards were then backed up to RAID and SSDs for the edit.
Edit and gradeEdited and graded in DaVinci Resolve on a 6K wide timeline, in the month after the event.
Stills: 14 full-resolution frames from the master are in the press kit. cineartistlabs.com
