RED CONTROL / RED CONTROL PRO Application Privacy Notice

The RED Control and RED Control Pro applications (collectively, the “app”) provide remote and tethered access to RED and/or Z CINEMA cameras from a mobile device, with RED Control supporting a single camera connection and RED Control Pro supporting multiple camera connections.

RED does not collect, receive, store, or share personal data through the app. The app does not include any functionality that automatically transmits user data, logs, images, or other information to RED.

Data Practices.

  • No Collection by RED:

    RED does not collect personal identifiers, contact information, account information, location data, images, or other data through the app.

  • No Automatic Data Transmission:

    The app does not automatically transmit data, logs, images, or usage information to RED or any third party.

  • Temporary Local Image Caching:

    To support app functionality and performance, images displayed in the app may be temporarily cached on your device. These cached images are stored locally and are automatically deleted when no longer needed.

  • System-Level Crash Reporting

    : If enabled on your device, the operating system provider (such as Apple or Google) may collect anonymized crash or diagnostic information. Any such information is collected and processed by the operating system provider, not by RED, and is governed by the provider’s privacy policies.
